Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1863. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, blued finish, breech block marked BSA Co, lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate, tang marked 8/48 (8th Battalion Royal Rifles), Enfield roundel on right side, left side has DC in a diamond indicating Dominion of Canada issue, sling swivels, ramrod.
Wear: Metal finish shows a few light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
