Main Description: Breechblock marked Sniders Patent J. Grainger & Son Toronto, lock marked Tower 1866. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has nipple protector. One piece smooth sporterized wood stock, cleaning rod channel not filled in, stock cracked behind lock and left side of barrel, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate with unmarked tang chipped at toe, missing rear swivel hole is present, has a single barrel band, bayonet lug is removed.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light pitting, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
