Cal. 68. NSN. 15 3/4" overall. Bbl. 9 5/8” Oct. twist, marked “DALTON DUBLIN” (Edward Dalton working 1772-1781) on top flat, Irish proofs on left breech. Breech has unlined touch hole engraved en suite to chamfered lock w/ slightly rebated pointed tail, w/ beveled flat serpentine cock & bridled roller frizzen, frizzen spring has flared finial. "Dalton" is engraved w/ flourishes under pan. Trigger guard has engraved flower on bow, & stylized acorn finial. European walnut stock has flattened bag grip attached to bbl. w/ 2 keys. Wood ramrod has horn tip & tail has worm. CONDITION, very good to fine as refinished. Appears all original w/ exception of restored cock, mechanically fine w/ smooth slightly frosted bore.
