Cal. 54. NSN. Bbl. 9 1/16" rnd. w/ smooth bore. Lock is marked "S NORTH / US / MIDLN CON." around American Eagle. Band fastened walnut stock w/ iron buttcap, backstrap, trigger guard, sideplate & band. Bottom of forearm has hand carved initials "JMB". Replacement hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: bbl. & lock finish have faded to gray showing spots of light pitting & corrosion. Hammer, frizzen & frizzen spring have rust colored patina. Refinished stock has repaired cracks through wrist, lock & sideplate areas w/ an added wood repair on left side of forearm. Dark pitted bore. (01-17100/DS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
