Red Tomahawk's name is written on this revolver along with the message "Shoots Sitting Bull last" in togia. Red Tomahawk was an Indian Police Sergeant and he and Lieutenant Bullhead were sent by James McLaughlin to arrest Sitting Bull on December 15, 1890. A scuffle ensued and Bullhead shot Sitting Bull in the stomach and Red Tomahawk shot him in the head with this revolver.
