Serial #67550 Caliber 30-06 Gov’t Manufactured 1909. Produced by Winchester for the NRA to comply with the then current match regulations requiring a spl, 24” round barrel, Pattern 1901 US Krag rear sight, Shooting sling attachments and Spl’ flat butt plate not unlike the then current military rifles of the United States. These were produced from 1904 through 1925. This example produced in 1909 was chambered in the new 30-06 cartridge with oil finished walnut stocks. CONDITION. Very good with over 60% original blue finish with balance toned to siler patina. Action operates properly and wood is full sized with period bruises. C&R
