Rare Smith & Wesson 38 Single Action Second Model Revolver
serial #100466, 38 S&W, rare 8'' barrel with and oxidized and pitted bore showing strong rifling throughout. This revolver retains perhaps 10% original nickel plate, the balance toned to a mild brown color under strong light with scattered stains from oxidation, dispersed pitting, and handling marks. The trigger and hammer have toned to gray with minor oxidation stains. The diamond checkered hard rubber factory grips feature S&W monogram, are numbered to the gun, and remain in excellent condition. The revolver features a pinned ramp front sight, fixed rear sight, tight barrel to frame fit, and all appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun.
