VEPR MAG. CONVERSION. Cal. 12 Ga. S# H11430496. Bbl. 19". The Saiga-12, as w/ it’s close relative the VEPR-12, have become extremely desirable shotguns, especially since halting sales from Russia. This particular version, imported through Legion USA in Hallandale, FL. may arguably be the best of both platforms. A true Saiga-12 mfg. by Izhmash that is modified to utilize the popular VEPR-12 mag. The 19" bbl. is terminated w/ right hand exterior threads & a thread protector. The front sight is the traditional protected post at the end of the gas block. Rear sight w/ a radius of 10" is a tangent style marked to 1000m. Hinged top cover that provides 7" of picatinny rail real estate. Right hand controls, black plastic furniture suitable for sling mounting on either right or left side. Factory finish on exposed metal surfaces is a dark black. Firearm appears unmolested by 922r standards & still retains the traditional sporting style shoulder stock. MAGS: 2 TOTAL; 1-10 rd. & 1-5 rd. mag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory Izhmash shipping box, owner’s manuals, cleaning kit. CONDITION: all outward aspects illustrate extremely little use, if any beyond factory test firing. Receiver finish wear at junction w/ selector has only earned a tiny line indicative of very little operation. Bore is mirror shiny. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-740/JZ). MODERN. $600-1,000.
