Cal. 36. S# 5712. Bbl. 5 7/8" oct. w/ brass cone style front sight. Belgian copy of the 1851 Colt Navy revolver. Top flat marked "CAP SYSTEM MANUFACTURED BY RONGESON". Left side of bbl. is spuriously stamped "CSA" next to a proof mark. Right side of bbl. has 2 proof marks as does the 6 shot rnd. cyl. Bbl. has non matching # 104637. 2 Piece walnut replacement grips. Hammer screw, wedge & wedge screw are replacement. CONDITION: gray metal w/ general deep pitting. Top bbl. flat shows series of sm. dents. Undersized grips show wear. Action shows wear & is not timed properly. Fair bore w/ good rifling. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. Carl Golightly. (01-16297/DS/BF). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
