Cal. 44. S# 34517. Bbl. 8" oct. w/ dovetail mounted brass blade front sight. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. Blue finish w/ brass trigger guard. Bbl., frame & cyl. have "A" or "I" US inspectors marks. 2 Piece walnut grips w/ partially visible cartouche on right panel. CONDITION: metal has dark patina appearance showing areas of pitting w/ numerous sm. dents on both sides on forward portion of frame. Sanded & refinished grips have chips along bottom w/ heavily coated refinishing. Bore retains sound rifling showing areas of light pitting. (01-17121/DS). ANTIQUE. $600-1,000.
