Cal. 30-06. S# 3987439. Bbl. 24". Green parkerized finish. Protected blade front sight w/ original adj. rear sight. Stamped bottom metal. Straight grip walnut stock & handguard. Left of stock has crossed cannons acceptance mark followed by "FJA" cartouche w/ "O.G." cartouche on left side of butt w/ "JS" near buttplate. Toeline behind trigger guard has circle "P" over "P". Flaming bomb on toeline between swivel & buttplate. CONDITION: 90% parkerized finish showing scattered surface corrosion. Wood has dark appearance w/ lightly crazed added finish. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Dan Poppen. (20-207/DS). CURIO. $400-600.
