Cal. 12 Ga. S# U163640. Bbl. 23". Takedown. Receiver marked on left forward edge flaming bomb / "U.S.". Visible bbl. markings consist of "CYL" & "156083". Bayonet lug attached by 3 screws. Brass bead front sight. Slide bar is marked "REMINGTON" & "TRADEMARK". Replacement walnut handguard w/ rnd. grooved slide handle. Buttstock has rounded pistol grip & fluted comb. CONDITION: non-military replacement buttstock has extensive wear & flaking of original finish. Missing chip in toe area. Extensive cracks around wrist; some have glued repairs. Heavily worn slide handle has 6" crack on left side plus gouges & chipping at rear w/ flattened area on bottom. Handguard has notable light coloration w/ light wear & scratches.
