Cal. 30-06. S# 3383631. Bbl. 24" marked "RA", flaming bomb & "1-43". Consignor states rifle was from R.L. Wilson collection. Adj. aperture rear sight. Blade front sight. All visible parts markings are "R". All stamped furniture. Large bow trigger guard. Checkered trap buttplate. Straight grip walnut stock set w/ 2 reinforcing pins. Stock marked over trigger guard w/ faint boxed "FJA". Stock also marked ahead of cutoff w/ boxed "RIA FK" arsenal overhaul marking. Marked underneath pistol grip w/ circle "P" & "K". Has military style leather sling. CONDITION: stock has light wear, staining & scattered handling marks. Metal has 80% original wartime parkerizing. Fair worn bore turning dark in grooves. (20-850/RW). CURIO. $900-1,500.
