Cal. 44. S# 784. Bbl. 8" oct. w/ cone type front sight. Rnd. 6 shot cyl. Blued finish w/ brass trigger guard. 2 Piece walnut grips. Estimated quantity 1,900 mfg. 1861-1862. CONDITION: cleaned metal has light brown coloration from touch up finish over general light pitting. Grips show wear & handling marks w/ chip at toe of left panel. Bore retains sound rifling showing sm. spots of pitting. (01-16869/DS). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
