Cal. 50 CF. S# 1379. Bbl. 7" rnd. w/ blade front sight. Breech end of bbl. has inspection markings "I / H.E" over Navy anchor. Case colored action w/ 2 line patent markings on right & left side has inspectors markings "P / F.C.W". Walnut forearm & 1 piece grip. Left side of grip has partially visible cartouche. Inside of lower tangs bear matching number "1379". CONDITION: bbl. retains 60% dull lightly faded blue showing scattered corrosion. Action retains 20% dull lightly visible case colors. Refinished wood has darkened appearance showing dents & handling marks w/ sm. chips at butt & along bbl. channel. Bore retains strong rifling showing scattered pitting. (01-17172/DS). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
