(Disneyland, c.1960s-1970s) A pair of rare Swiss import LPs by alphorn player and accordionist Fred Burri. An early fixture in the Park, Burri served as the Matterhorn's resident yodeler for 18 years. The 33 1/3 rpm records released by Star Hi-Fi Records, Swiss Folkmusic and Yodeling (C.R.ST-171) and Alpe Labe (C.R.ST-188), contain 14 and 15 tracks respectively. Perhaps most notably however, is the inclusion of "Alpaufzug Luzarner Chilby" which is still heard among the Matterhorn Bobsleds soundtrack queue even today. Measuring 12"x12" the records and album covers are in good condition, exhibiting minor creases and wear to the covers, and some scratches to the records.
