GENEVA NEW YORK" referring to the Geneva New York Police Department. Top tang has 4 line Winchester Trademark "MODEL 07 S.L.". Serrated mag. release button is located on right side of receiver along mag. Walnut forearm & pistol grip stock w/ swivel bases & grooved steel buttplate. Records indicate 1946 Mfg. MAGS: 1 detachable 5 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: period FBI black leatherette covered carry case w/ blue velour interior for the Model 1907 & accommodations for 7 detachable mags. Lock is marked "EAGLE LOCK COMPANY / USA / TERRYVILLE CONN". Case exterior shows scattered scuffs & marks. Leather covered handle shows heavy wear. Case interior shows light wear & fading. Consignor states that this kit was purchased from a former FBI employee. CONDITION: over 97% blue showing scattered sm. scratches & marks. Buttplate retains 60% blue showing spots of flaking & light pitting. Original wood finish shows scratches & marks w/ rack wear mark behind top tang.
