Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 04832E. Bbl. 29". Very nice example of CZ Persian Contract Model 98/29 Long Rifle mfg. 1931-1938. Rifle has very high degree of original finish w/ crisp Farsi markings. Straight bolt handle. Receiver marked on top w/ Persian national crest. Tangent rear sight w/ Farsi graduations. Inverted V front sight w/ integral protective ears. Cleaning rod is present. All milled furniture. Upper band has stacking swivel. Swivel is present in lower band, buttstock & trigger guard bow. Walnut stock set. Buttstock has Farsi markings & unmarked steel marking disk. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching 15 5/8" Fullered blade bayonet w/ walnut grips & blued steel scabbard. Bayonet is finished bright; very good condition w/ some handling marks. Sm. crack on left grips. Also includes test target w/ matching S# from CZ. CONDITION: stock set has very light wear & sm. scattered handling marks. Metal retains 95% original finish w/ very light high point wear. Screw heads retain faint straw colors. Near excellent shiny bore. (20-230/RW). CURIO. $600-900.
