Cal. 69. NSN. 12" Overall. Bbls. 6" oct. w/ inlaid silver presentation on 3 flats "En Plasencia / Por Franco Astiazaran / Ano 1851". Most unusual lock mechanism w/ external springs & full figural hammers in shape of stylized seated lions. Iron mounts lightly engraved, sunbursts on trigger bows & back of butt caps. Checkered stocks have brass keyway escutcheons. CONDITION: good to very good overall. Complete & original. 1 Gun has 1/2" of trigger guard missing at tail. Metal has been cleaned. A coat of varnish has been applied over metal & wood. Mechanics are fine w/ clean smooth bores. (01-17243/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
