Measures 37.5"Wx28"H. "It was the golden light on these two rhinos that initially moved me to create this painting.

The scene was so serene it was difficult to remember, or even imagine, these magnificent and iconic animals being under threat each and every day.

Rhino poaching is a very real problem in Africa, and the fact these animals are in protected reserves makes no difference to the ongoing reality of senseless poaching.

Rhino poaching needs to be stopped so that our children have hope of visiting the amazing African bush one day and witnessing for themselves such a scene as the one depicted in this artwork. - Ilse de Villiers.
