Cal. 223. S# MH7416. Bbl. 23.3". This rare & desirable Russian RPK variant chambered in .223 is one of the last guns of this type to make it through customs due to the previous ban. A real Russian semi-auto RPK, not a fantasy based assembled parts kit. Mfg. in the fabled Molot plant where the originals were born. The military guns mfg. for the Soviet Army during the Cold War put these on our radar & were fortunate to have the real deal available here. The 23.3" heavy chrome bbl. is terminated w/ a left hand thread & U.S. made RPK muzzle brake just forward of the locking RPK bipod. The long cleaning rod is held captive below the bbl. Left side folding polymer clubfoot stock. Matching plastic ribbed RPK handguard. Left side factory scope mt. Protected post front sight & RPK exclusive windage & elevation adj. rear sight marked 100-300m. Right side safety/selector. Green canvas sling attached to onboard swivels. Tapco G2 trigger. Pistol grip has been replaced w/ aftermarket grip w/ more pronounced finger grooves, though the original is included. MAGS: 1 30 rd. Promag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory box, owner’s manual, pistol grip & oil bottle. CONDITION: the original finish enjoys complete overage throughout all exposed metal surfaces. The receiver has the customary score below the safety/selector which is inevitable. Furniture is free of any apparent blemishing, it appears this gun remained on display w/ very little live fire time, if any at all. Shiny bore w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-768/JZ). MODERN. $3,500-5,000.
