Very seldom seen first model Newhouse #6 slick pan bear trap, circa 1855-63. Displaying its riveted teeth, swivel at third chain link, and identifying bulged crossbar, as shown in the book "The Trap Collector's Guide". This trap is in nice overall untouched condition. This very desirable massive trap measures 47" to the outside of its springs.
