Cal. 7.62x39. S# 300496. Bbl. 16". A very early semi-auto AK-47 variant imported from China through Import Arms Company Sacramento, CA. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Front trunnion marked "56S" along w/ the triangle 66 Arsenal mark. Import markings on bottom of receiver "IA CO SAC CA"/ PRC 7.62 NORINCO". Correct yellow/red tinted wooden furniture & reinforced stamped receiver. Proper slant muzzle break in front of hooded post front sight. Gas block/ bayonet lug play host to on board cleaning rod. Tangent rear sight marked to 800 meters. Right side controls. Trap door butt stock includes cleaning kit remainder. Matching numbers on several sm. parts & receiver. Front handguard slotted to accept folding bayonet. MAGS:1 metal 30 rd. CONDITION: exterior surfaces still retain the vast majority of their original finish. The only exception is in the area of receiver & selector where a fine line wears almost immediately to due mechanical intervention. Bright bore w/ aggressive rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1450/JZ). MODERN. $800-1,200.
