NAVY SIZE COAT OF ARMS FLASK.
Manufacture by the American Flask & Cap Co. Rather late design introduced after 1857. This flask was used w/ Colt & other types of Navy revolvers. Because of this association this flask is commonly known by collectors as the Colt Navy Flask. Patriotic theme engraving consists of crossed revolvers, stars & sunburst over American eagle & shield w/ flag & cannon over sword, bugle & Navy anchor. Height: 5 1/2". Width: 2 7/8". 1 1/2" Fixed angled spout. CONDITION: copper finish has acquired a pleasing mild patina. Body shows a few sm. handling marks. (02-13550/DS). $200-350.
