Cal. 8 mm Nambu. S# 57523. Bbl. 4.7". Mfg. Nov. 1942. All parts blued. Matching numbered trigger, bolt & cocking piece. Horizontally grooved hardwood grips. MAGS: 1 good well fitting 8 rd. numbered 984. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good brown leather clam shell holster w/ cleaning rod & spare firing pin. Underside of flap appears to be "WPK" / Nagoya arsenal symbol followed by "8". Back of holster has dual shoulder strap loops plus belt loop. Nickeled studs, loops & latch. Uncommon in leather as most were composition. CONDITION: good to very good general appearance w/ bbl. plus flat areas of receiver & frame having more polished appearance; balance has typical military finish. Typical safety operation scratches on receiver. Light function wear throughout. Light highpoint wear & occasional spots of light peppery oxidation. Edges of grips in grip strap areas have reduced rounded edges creating smaller feel to grip. Near excellent bore. (20-187/NW). CURIO. $700-1,100.
