Shah Jahan (1628-1658 AD), silver rupee, Daulatabad mint, AH 1069/RY 32 (post-deposition issue), both sides legend within octafoil border, KM 232.1, 11.00g. Obv: Shahada in centre; names of Rashidoon caliphs and their titles around with AH date. Rev: Persian legend shahjahan badshah ghazi and RY in centre; ruler's title shihab ud-din muhammad sahib-e-qiran sani with mint-name around.

Very fine, Very rare.

Towards the end of Shah Jahan's reign, the 'octafoil in center' type coin were struck from Shahjahanabad, Akbarabad and Daulatabad mints.
