Shah Jahan (1628-1658 AD), gold mohur (possibly contemporary copy), 'square areas' type, Patan Deo mint, RY10, complete mint visible in left quadrant on reverse, KM 260.19, 10.72g.

Very fine, Rare.

Patan Deo is identified with coastal town of Patan, alternatively known as Prabhasa or 'Somnath' after the famous temple located there. A mint operated here, perhaps to serve for the pilgrim market before one was established at Junagarh, the provincial capital.
