Jahangir (1605-1627 AD), silver rupee, Katak mint, Mihr, AH 1035, with a hitherto unread couplet divided between obverse and reverse, 11.21g, slight water damage on edge.

Very fine+, Extremely rare.

It has also been suggested that the legend could be “ABD AABAAD BAQAEY SHAH”. A sort of prayer that Katak may remain ever populated, alive and prosperous. In any case, a very interesting coin.
