Jahangir (1605-1627 AD) - two copper coins of Ahmadnagar mint, struck in Nizamshahi type, both have Jahangir Badshah and Shuhur fi Sanah legends on obverse and reverse respectively but one is struck to a Mughal weight standard (1/2 dam, 9.52g.) while the other is struck to a Nizamshahi standard (1/2 unit, 6.72g.). An unusual and rare combination on offer for ardent collectors of Mughal copper coinage. (2 coins)
