Alamgir II (1754-1759 AD) - silver rupee, 'Mihr Muneer' couplet, Dilshadabad mint, AH (11)71, 11.22g.

Good Very fine, Rare.

This couplet is known only for the mints of Dilshadabad and Imtiyazgarh for coins struck in the name of Alamgir II. Ostensibly, the mint of Dilshadabad (Narayanpett) was run at the behest of the Hindu raja of this Samsthana, feudatory to the Nizams of Haidarabad.
