Akbar (1555-1605 AD), anonymous denominational copper coinage, ¼ dam or 'Damra', dated Ilahi 33, 5.08g.

Very fine, Rare.

A series of coins bearing only the denomination was struck soon after Akbar celebrated the 'Islamic Millennium' in AH990. This comprised 'Nisfi', 'Rub'ai', 'Damra', 'Damree' and the rare small denomination 'Jital'.
