Willie Botha of Legadema Hunting Safaris is donating a true classical 10-day cape buffalo safari for 1 hunter, which includes the trophy fee for one buffalo in the Musengezi Concession of Mozambique.

Legadema Hunting & Safaris exclusive Mussinguezu hunting concession in the Tete province of Mozambique is an open free-range area. In fact, there are no fences in the TeTe province of Mozambique.

The area is roughly 300,000 acres in size. The northern border is the mighty Zambezi River (Cahora Bassa catchment area) and the southern border is Zimbabwe.

Here you will find here some of the largest crocodiles in the world and a good number of elephants, buffalo, hippos, lion, leopard, and plains game.

This is as close as you can get to the Old Way of African hunting. It is a tented camp, and each unit has a shower, handbasin and ablution with hot and cold water. The camp is right on the banks of the Furumwe River.


1. Every hunter that hunts a buffalo can also add a crocodile for $4500
(13- 16 feet) trophy fee.

2. The winning bidder can bring up to 3 additional buffalo hunters at the discounted price of $9000 per hunter.

The Musengezi Concession is one of the few areas left in Africa where you have the opportunity of a true classical big five safari combined with a variety of plains game, fishing and bird shooting.

A $1,200 Taxidermy Gift Certificate from Knights Taxidermy.

Not included: are international/domestic airfares, Hotel (if required) $100 per night, rifle import license $300 or firearms rental $50 per day, hunt permit $300, additional trophy fees, firearm permits, dip an ship and gratuities.

The donation is good for available dates 2024 0r 2025.

The hunt can be upgraded to include additional days at $400 per day, observers at $200 per day, crocodile $4,000, other game as per the price list.
