DSC Great Lakes Regional Chapter member, Vince Cracchiolo, has generously donated his total accumulation of 16 Michigan preference points for a Michigan Black Bear Tag. Vince will draw the tag and then donate the tag to the individual hunter designated by the purchaser of this auction item. Michigan law requires that, for the tag to be donated, it must be donated to a disabled hunter or to a youth hunter 17 years of age or younger. In order to be eligible to receive and make use of this tag, the hunter (disabled or youth hunter) must purchase a preference point in 2025. Preference points are available for purchase in the State of Michigan between May 1 and June 1, 2025 online or at any hunting license dealer. Purchaser will designate the hunting area they prefer. In most instances, individuals need at least eight preference points to draw a tag in the State of Michigan. This donor is all but guaranteed to draw a tag with over 16 preference points. Purchaser will be asked to identify the hunter to whom the tag will be donated at the time of the sale.
