Ancient Gujarat/Malwa, Kshatrapa-Gupta period, bronze seal, (300-350 AD), 0.82g; with Brahmi inscription Dattavyam engraved in mirror image, in a straight line. The seal has two thread-holder brackets on the back.

Very fine, Rare.

The inscription 'Dattavyam' indicates that it was used to complete donation rituals, perhaps used to mark objects that were given away in charity (Dāna).
