North Maharashtra/Khandesh region - 'bull' type coin in alloyed copper of Vishnukundin fabric, tentatively attributed to local Rashtrakuta dynasty, unpublished in major sources, 1.86g. Obv: Bull standing facing right; Brahmi legend Shri Shuravigraha above. Rev: Stylized representation of Vaishnava wheel with four spokes, with Swastikas in each quadrant and a flaming dotted border.

Extremely fine, Extremely rare.

Shuravigraha' adds another name to the list of kings with '-Vigraha' ending names. The most common coins are of Ranavigraha; however Jagavigraha (PAIC 3037-3040) and Pranavigraha (PAIC 3041) have also been noted.
