Nawanagar, Jam Sri Ranjitsinhji, Complete set of Order of Merit Medals (4), Gold, First Class, Silver, Second Class, Bronze, Third Class and Miniature Silver, Second Class, Obv: The full face portrait of jam Sri Ranjitsinhji, inscription above “ORDER OF MERIT” and below “NAWANAGAR STATE”, Rev: Two standing figures (a Knight and justice) and four seated (angel with child, beauty with Dog). Below on four scrolls “LOYALTY PHILANTHROPY CHARITY FIDELITY” (T. Mac# 203). All Medals with Suspension ring, ribbon and eye with class bars. In original box of issue. Patinated, Mint State, exceedingly rare as complete set of 4.
Nawanagar State Medal of Jam Ranjitsinhji are exceedingly rare so far. Recently a few Medals appeared in private treaty but only 2 were complete set of 4. Rest were Set of 3 without having big Silver Medal. Great opportunity for Collectors.
