serial #A7691, 30-30 Win, 20'' Special Smokeless Steel barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel, magazine tube, barrel bands, loading gate and carbine-style buttplate retain 93-95% original blue show light freckling, minor handling marks, and spots of thinning to a pewter gray with high edge wear most noticeable at the buttplate. The action shows vibrant case-hardened colors with the lever more of a smoky gray with scattered tiny specks of fine oxidation staining. The saddle ring is no longer present and the standard carbine sights are intact. The smooth straight grip walnut stock and forend rate very good plus as lightly cleaned with a few minor handling marks visible under an added layer of finish. The action of this handsome carbine cycles smoothly and is in a very versatile chambering. (10A11536-1) {C&R} (1200/1800)
