1) TELEGRAPH KEY. This telegraph key is housed in a leather box embossed on the front, “SERVICE BUZZER SIGNAL CORPS U.S. ARMY MODEL 1914”. The inside has a maker’s label from “STROMBERG-CARLSON” of Rochester, NY for the Signal Corps. 2) COMPASS. The tag on the side of this compass reads, “A.F. U.S. ARMY, TYPE D-12” along w/ “SPEC. NO. 94-27825”. Compass measures about 6 1/2" in diameter & is black. 3) COMPASS. An odd type of compass mfg. by Pioneer. Compass stands approx. 8" high off its wooden base & is black in color. 4-6) 3 M4 PERISCOPE HEADS. Periscope heads are black & measure approx. 6 1/2" x 3". They provide a rectangular prismatic view. 2 Are in original shipping boxes. 7) COMPASS. A sm. engineering compass & level. 8) FIRST AID KIT. A partial first aid kit in brown leather. 9) TELESCOPE. A telescope of unknown purpose w/ a tag on the end that reads, “TELESCOPE PANORAMIC MB NO. 196 F.M. E.K.CO. 1941”. 10) EYE PIECE. This appears to be an eye piece for some type of equipment & is housed in its own wooden box. It has Japanese characters on it & there are labels w/ Japanese characters on the inside & the outside of the box. 11) BELL. This appears to be a ship’s alarm bell. It has several tags w/ Japanese characters. 12) SPY GLASS. A sm. 3 1/8" spy glass marked, “POCKET SCOPE SR.”. CONDITION: items range in condition from unissued in original box to well used but possibly functional. (02-14408(12)/BF). $300-500.
