CONNECTICUT. The archive includes 3 GAR & Union veteran's medals, 2 Spanish American War veteran's medals, a Connecticut WWI service medal & a WWI Victory medal. Spanish War & WWI medals presumably belong to Frank Delbert Lawton, Jr. who served in the US Navy. Archive further includes forms, letters, documents, photos & other associated paperwork dealing w/ Lawton as well as his son, Frank Lawton III, who served in WWII. An interesting group representing one family's military history from the Civil War to WWII. CONDITION: most medals show very light wear. WWI CT medal has a tattered ribbon. Photos & ephemera show some tattered edges & expected fading/discoloration. (02-12420/BF). $400-600.
