Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 7056x. Bbl. 4". Mfg. 1937 w/ late finish for German military sales. Approx. 89,000 mfg. w/ proper all blue finish from S# 1501t to 400b. Toggle marked S/42. All matching #s to include rear toggle pivot & grips. Frame w/ stock lug. MAGS: 2 very good blued 8 rd. w/ matching aluminum bases # 2272q & eagle "63" proofs & addition of "+" on one. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good black flap holster w/ buckle & strap retention; no loading tool. Back marked "RYFFEL&ABORNS/HANOVER/1936" over drop wing eagle proof. Waist belt w/ barely visible ink marks on back but SS lightening bolts visible. Set for approx. 36" (range appears to be 33-38; back sides of ends marked 95 outer & 18 inner) waist; back side of matte silver buckle has RZM emblem, "822/37" & circled SS lighting bolts. Light fading on upper portion of holster flap w/ balance of rig definitely appearing very good. CONDITION: very good appearance w/ typical holster high point wear. Grip straps have pinprick oxidation approaching patina appearance. Occasional spots of pinprick oxidation around lower front of frame & trigger guard. Other minor spots of pinprick oxidation throughout. Very good grips w/ slight diamond top wear on left from holster & occasional faint mark. Good to very good bore w/ occasional spots of frosting & very light pitting. Finish appears original including all markings such as eagle "63". (21-1652/NW). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
