Cal. 7mm Mauser. S# 1224. Bbl. 23 1/4". Receiver marked on left rail "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER-OBERNDORF A/N". Receiver ring has "B"U" proof on left side, receiver ring is otherwise unmarked. Turned down bolt handle. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000m. Inverted V front sight. Bayonet bar is present. Replacement lower band has side & bottom swivels. Hardwood buttstock has bottom swivel & flat steel buttplate. Walnut handguard. CONDITION: stock & handguard have wear, dents, scratches & staining throughout. Buttstock has poor wood to metal fit. Handguard has 2 lg. cracks at front & rear ends. Metal turned overall gray & patina w/ oxidation & pitting throughout. Notable pitting along wood line of receiver. Receiver has deep tool marks from improper use of tools. Dark worn oxidized bore. (20-794/RW). CURIO. $150-250.
