Top tang is marked w/ star indicating production during Bankruptcy period. Hammer spur is bobbed. Top of action has added checkering & straight line matting. Trigger is marked "25" on left side & has hand checkering. Action screws, pins & takedown screw have hand checkered heads. Forearm cap & screws are hand checkering. Forearm & S curved pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut have style F factory hand checkering. LOP: 13" to steel Swiss buttplate. Top tang channel of stock has S# "401991" matching rifle. Left inside of lower tang & back of buttplate have matching assembly # "9725". CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain over 95% bright blue showing scattered spots of pitting & finish loss. Action retains 80% lightly faded case colors. Stock & forearm have age darkened appearance w/ worn checkering. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling. (20-301/DS). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
