ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. S# A8059. Bbl. 26" oct. to rnd. Dovetail mounted front sight w/ elevator adj. semi buckhorn sporting rear sight. Half length mag. Case colored takedown action. Forearm & S curved pistol grip walnut stock of fancy black walnut w/ crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain 80% lightly faded blue showing spots of corrosion. Action has restored case colors on sides w/ top & bottom parts having a faded appearance w/ touch up finish. Stock & forearm are sanded w/ heavy gloss varnish refinish. Stock has chips along both sides of upper & lower tangs w/ repaired crack on right side of wrist. Bore is generally bright retaining sound rifling. (20-517/DS). CURIO. $900-1,500.
