Cal. 30-30. S# 245631. Bbl. 26" oct. Combination front sight, replacement Win. elevator adj. rear sight & combination tang sight. Full length mag. Receiver, lever, forearm cap & crescent steel buttplate have nickel finish. Breech bolt has case colored finish. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crude added checkered & white tail deer carving. Mfg. 1902. CONDITION: bbl. has 40% fading blue blending w/ areas of pitting. Mag. tube has faded gray appearance w/ spots of pitting. Nickel parts retain 75% finish showing spots of flaking. Breech block has lightly visible case colors. Lightly sanded & refinished wood has dark open grain appearance w/ dark staining at toe. Bore has darkened appearance retaining intact rifling. (19-5563/DS). CURIO. $500-700.
