A hand-painted asteroid scene matte study painting by Michael Pangrazio from Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. When the crew of the Millennium Falcon evaded Imperial forces by hiding inside a large asteroid, TIE Bombers dropped bombs through an asteroid field in an attempt to draw them out.

This mixed media matte study painting was hand-painted on illustration board for the sequence and signed by miniature and optical effects unit matte artist Michael Pangrazio. It is in good overall condition with handwritten scribbles on the border and signs of wear throughout, including small punctures, smudges, and tears. Dimensions: 10 1/2" x 8" (26.75 cm x 20.25 cm)
