This lot will be sold on Wednesday August 27th (day 2 of the auction.) Lots 434-870 will be sold on day 2 (lots 1-433 will be sold on day 1). The auction will begin at 10:00AM PDT. A set of postcards sent by Bunny Alsup during the filming of George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. Billed as "Assistant to Producer", Alsup traveled with and worked for both Lucas and her brother-in-law, producer Gary Kurtz, during the production of the film.

These seven postcards from several locations throughout Europe, Africa, and Lucasfilm's base in Northern California are dated between October 1975 to August 1976. They feature various handwritten correspondence and contain references to the film's production. The set is in good overall condition with some wear from age and damage to the front of one card. Dimensions (largest): 5 3/4" x 4" (14.5 cm x 10.25 cm); (smallest): 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" (14 cm x 9 cm)
