Main Description: Bolt matches, converted from an Enfield MKI* 1901 to a CLLE in 1910. Blade front sight with ramp, sheet metal sliding cover, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, blued finish, Knox form stamped with the letter E and DP or EP?, magazine cutoff, safety on cocking piece, retains volley sights. Three piece smooth full military wood stocks, handguard cracked, pistol grip, smooth brass butt plate with trap, tang unmarked, right side of stock has partial London Small Arms Company stamp, forearm has number 2 and what appears to be wood dowels bedding it for accuracy. Two sling and one stacking swivel, bayonet lug.
Wear: Metal finish shows a few light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
