Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1896, bolt mismatched. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched Sutherland rear sight, blued finish, Knox form stamped with the letter E, dust cover, magazine cutoff and safety on cocking piece. Retains volley sights. Three piece smooth full military wood stocks, forearm has a repaired hole in front of trigger guard, pistol grip, smooth brass butt plate with trap tang marked 4.11/7 (possibly 7th Battalion of Fusillers), right side of stock has Enfield roundel, left side of stock has M&D indicating Canadian Militia and Defence Issue. Two sling and one stacking swivel, bayonet lug, clearing rod.
Wear: Metal finish shows a few light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
