Main Description: Manufactured by BSA & MCo 1895, bolt mismatched. This rifle has M&D on left side of stock indicating Canadian Militia and Defence, receiver stamped DP (Drill Purpose) with N broad arrow Z on the left side indicating New Zealand Ownership. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, dust cover, magazine cut off, no safety on cocking piece, retains front and rear volley sights. Three piece smooth full military wood stocks, top handguard is cracked, pistol grip, smooth brass butt plate with trap, tang marked 2/619, right side of stock has partial roundel, sling and stacking swivels, magazine retains link, bayonet lug, clearing rod.

Wear: Metal finish shows some light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
