Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1898, bolt matches. Barley corn front sight with ramp and ears, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, blued finish, sold from stores marks on receiver and barrel, has a dust cover, magazine cut off, safety on right side of bolt. Three piece smooth full military wood stocks, pistol grip, smooth brass butt plate with trap, right side of stock has Enfield roundel with RNWMP stamp numbered 611 with M&D indicating Canadian Militia and Defence issue, brass stock disk stamped GGBG 36 indicating Governor Generals Body Guards Issue. Missing leather rear sight cover and screws, has the clearing rod, magazine retains link.
Wear: Metal finish shows some scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.
